Asaduddin Owaisi On Justice Shekhar Yadav: All India Majlis-e-Ittehadul Muslimeen (AIMIM) President Asaduddin Owaisi on Tuesday (December 10) said that he has signed a notice demanding the removal of Justice Shekhar Yadav of Allahabad High Court. This step has been taken regarding the alleged controversial statement of the Justice at a function of Vishwa Hindu Parishad (VHP).
Owaisi alleged that Shekhar Yadav’s behavior violates constitutional norms including the Supreme Court’s “restatement of values of judicial life”. He said that the process (removal proceedings) against the judge was initiated by National Conference MP Agha Syed Ruhullah Mehdi. The Hyderabad MP wrote on ‘X’, “I have signed a notice demanding action against Justice Shekhar Yadav of Allahabad High Court for his removal.”
